Joni Brennan MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, DIACC
Building upon 15 years of experience in trade association management focused upon Identity Access Management innovations and industry standards development, Joni serves as the DIACC Management Consultant. She helps the DIACC to fulfill its vision of organizing Canadian market forces to unlock digital identity and authentication (DIA) economic opportunities for all Canadians.
Deeply embedded in identity services standardization for over a decade, Joni has participated in multiple international organizational committees including: OECD ITAC, ISOC, IEEE and many more. She has testified regarding trusted Identity and Access Management systems for the US Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Security and Privacy (ONC HITSP).
Before joining DIACC Joni was Kantara Initiative's Executive Director focusing on technology evangelism, trust frameworks, and policy and technology interoperability to connect entities and individuals in a more trustworthy environment. Joni helped to ensure that Kantara Initiative program is aligned with multiple eGovernment strategies including: Government of Canada, New Zealand, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Graeme Gordon VICE PRESIDENT, DIGITAL CHANNELS - CANADA POST
Graeme provides a single point of coordination and executive oversight for all digital initiatives at Canada Post and is responsible for driving change, reducing cycle time for digital projects and enabling Canada Post to gain competitive advantage through its digital service offerings. These include CPC.CA, shipping tools, epost and all mobile applications. In addition to his role at Canada Post, Graeme is a member of Innovapost’s Executive Team, leading the alignment between Innovapost and Canada Post on digital business strategy and the development of new digital business solutions.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2009, Graeme was a Senior Executive with Accenture’s Government Operating Group and was responsible for their Canadian Federal Government practice. With more than 30 years in the industry, Graeme has extensive experience within the Government sector in the postal, defense, health and security industries—both in the U.S. and in Canada. He was Accenture’s Global Public Safety, Justice and Security lead for three years, and led their eGovernment practice in Canada for many years which included the preparation and communication of the their annual Digital Government Leadership Study.
Darren Henderson PARTNER, PWC
Based in Toronto, Darren leads PwC Canada's Technology, InfoComm, and Entertainment & Media consulting practice at a national level. He holds responsibility for understanding market trends, developing thought leadership and providing PwC's services to support client needs, with a current focus on digital transformation. With over 16 years of experience in the telecom and entertainment sectors in both Canada and Asia Pacific, Darren has led the improvement of revenue growth, customer experience and cost reduction for various clients.
Darren's leadership on digital transformation initiatives has involved the development of thought leadership, tools, and business strategies to assist clients as they transition various areas of their business to compete successfully in the digital arena. Some of these areas include:
Identifying and increasing revenues through digital means;
Enhancing the customer experience through mobile / digital touch points; and
Leading projects to allow clients to increase revenues through efficient and accurate content management across multiple platforms, products and transactions.
Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Australia's Deakin University, and is a Chartered Accountant.
