Brad Keates
Group Director, Innovation, Canada Health Infoway
Brad Keates leads Canada Health Infoway’s Innovation Team.
In this role, Brad is responsible for leading the group that will be designing, building and launching the ACCESS Gateway and providing innovation around Infoway’s existing national service PrescribeIT. He will also be tasked with working closely with key e-service providers, technology and integration suppliers and jurisdiction stakeholders to ensure Infoway delivers a robust Gateway solution.
Brad brings Canadian, North American and worldwide experience to the role having worked in senior positions for Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems over the past 25 years. Brad has led: multinational teams that have launched global services practices in the cloud and big data areas, software teams for large scale deployment in the core middleware, identity and operating system spaces, and the sales and integration efforts for several large health care projects across Canada and elsewhere. Throughout his career he has also led partner/alliance teams, marketing and public relations groups, and a wide variety of sales and business development organizations.
Brad collects vintage paper and can play four songs on the ukulele. He also holds a BMath Degree from the University of Waterloo, achieved several Six Sigma quality designations, and is a Certified Bartender and Mixologist!
