Michael Goit

Michael Goit is the Director of Digital Credentials Policy at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Office of the Chief Information Offer. He holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University.

Michael works at the intersection of technology and policy and works to advance a national approach to digital identity and credentials in the context of digital government for Canada.

A public servant with over 20 years experience, working in and leading numerous transformation and re-engineering projects, Michael brings a unique and innovative technologist’s perspective to complex problem spaces.
