Rene Cravioto
Program Manager – Innovation & Service Delivery, City of Vancouver

Rene Cravioto is passionate about solving complex problems, has worked for global companies such as IBM, Kodak, HSBC and for the last five years he has worked for the City of Vancouver (CoV).
He joined the CoV as Program Manager for Enterprise Data and Analytics and for the last 18 months, he has led a team in identifying opportunities to innovate and transform the nature of the relationship between Business departments and the Technology Services(IT) department. He has done so through a collaborative approach and by focusing on enabling an Ecosystem of reusable-capabilities and -components to accelerate Digital Service
Delivery.
Rene sees a huge potential in how verifiable credentials will transform service design, user experience and the speed of digital service delivery; he recognizes the network effect of the verifiable credentials ecosystem and is a passionate advocate for their immediate adoption. Rene strives to constantly learn something new: he recently completed a Human-Centered Systems Thinking course, earned an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning certificate and since 2010 holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Sauder School of Business.
